This 13 week journal is intended to help instill a habit of exercise by helping us get into a 90+ day routine. It starts off with goal setting and then there is a weekly check-in place to measure your body to track progress. I’m not impressed with the nutrition section with a very small square where we are supposed to write our meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. However the rest of it I really like. Each day gets a two page spread to track the focus of the day, with a checklist arms, legs, core, chest, back, balance, flexibility, total body conditioning. There are two lines to track cardio for each day. There is a detailed area to write the weightlifting workout. There are two lines for stretches. The nutrition area for the day is too small if you are trying to actually write what you eat, it is impossible. It has the time the calories your protein carbs and fat. There are around circles to fill in to represent consuming 8 ounces of water. There is a short list of supplements for you to fill out. You can write what time you go to sleep and wake up. You rate your quality of sleep. Also you can rate your day if you were on track with your goals what percentage do you give yourself for the day? I feel that the design of this book is masculine — it is done in shades of gray with black. It is unisex and fine for me, but definitely seems marketed to men. This has good information to me for Tracking workout data. There are so many little boxes to fill in they don’t leave you any room to even write one sentence about your day. I don’t need this to track my nutrition. It is actually easier to track nutrition with an app. I am reading this 4 stars = like it as a hardcopy workout journal, I really like that it lays flat on the table and has a metal spiral binding. It’s working great for me.

I wasn't able to use the "The Workout Journal and Roadmap: Track. Progress. Achieve." by Jon Moore because the print was a little too fine for my eyes even with glasses on so that is something to keep in mind. But with that said, the family member who I asked to try it out is enjoying the use of it. He's pretty detailed minded when it comes to his workout and eating routine. He participates in team obstacle course stuff and works part-time as a trainer at a local gym so I figured if anyone would get use out of it, he would.Again, he's enjoying it. He does agree that some print is a bit small, but it is repetitive so in his case, he's gotten used to it. He likes the flow the pages and like the supplements area. He fluctuates between wishing it were a little bigger to put more info and being fine with the size because it is easier to tote around. Such is the dilemma of any kind of daily journal though.So after about a month of using it, he felt the only drawback that he could note was the same issue that I had which was some may find the print a little hard to read. Otherwise, it is a solid workout journal.

This doesn't look it at first glance, but it is a spiral bound book that allows the pages to lay flat. It starts with week one and goes through week 13, so it is basically a 3 month planner. I think it looks particularly suited to men who want to lose fat and build muscle and strength. I don't see a lot in here for runners,but it could be adapted to that. Each day it has a place to document what you've done for Cardio/strength/and flexibility/mobility. On the opposite page is a place to track your nutritional intake and goals. I like that it also has a place to track any supplements you've taken because that's something a lot of people who are serious about bodybuilding will be using.Most people will be able to write small enough for this book. I wouldn't say you have to write teeny, but it does require writing smaller than you would on college ruled paper.At the end of each day, you can rate how well the day went. I find that very reinforcing.

This is a straightforward and easy to use Workout and Weight Loss tracker journal. Roadmap? Not so much. If you have a goal and a plan, this journal will help you execute that plan and track what works. 13 weeks of daily food and exercise tracking, with space to track water intake, supplements, and sleep quality. For that it is 5 stars.But this is not a roadmap in that it gives very little information on what to do. Come with a plan and use this to track and fine-tune.

I like the layout of this journal a lot!It has motivational quotes, sure- but lays out a 13-week road map with progress charts for not just your types of daily workouts- cardio, arms, legs, back, etc- but also helps you track nutrition, water intake, supplements & stretching. Also full of little workout tips & tricks like having a 16 oz coffee chased with an 8 oz glass of water about an hour beforehand to boost your endurance. Good stuff!

This is actually a pretty cut and dry journal to document your exercise goals/journey. It’s appearance might seem a little intimidating since it isn’t in a sunny scrapbook format and a dead serious black and white. Sure, each week has at least one motivational quote but the real purpose of this journal is to be a progressive tool for body and life changes.

This is a great log. It tracks everything you can think of...nutrition, hydration, exercise sleep...but it doesnt look crowded on the page. It is atill a reasonable size book. Well made and well thought out

This works well for me, since what I need is just a good and convenient simple journal for tracking exercise, bp, and such. If you want more structure or guidance, I think you need to look elsewhere.
