This is an entertaining graphic biography that's easy to read and comprehend. An amazing amount of information is packed into this 25-page story, told almost exclusively in three panels per page. The second half, with the magic escape acts, is more interesting than the first and also better documented: dates and ages are given in the second half, but not so much in the first. No explanation at all is given about even one of the magic acts, which I find a bit disappointing. All in all, a good story!
