This is a very good overview of OS concepts.

I like that this book provides a generalized explanation of the key OS concepts. This allows you to understand the benefits of the operating systems without becoming intimidated.

Just what I needed. (Wouldn't buy again, why would I need two?)

Very easy transaction.

It is exactly like it says it is. Very easy to sync to multiple devices, and using the Kindle reader on my Android device I can keep my place and swap between bookmarked locations, the Table of Contents, and the chapters/locations the Table of Contents links to very quickly and easily.My only gripe is it doesn't contain the print edition page numbers at an point, so in class when the instructor refers to a specific page [of the print edition] I have to figure out what page he's referring to. You get a star off for that.
