The total price (w/shipping & taxes) was $12.48 for this puzzle book. Ballpark, that's less than $0.07/each per puzzle. Not too bad for entertainment in these times (not being that "clever", I tend to get more for my money since it probably takes me longer to solve them). There are "Classic", "Daily" and "Challenger" puzzles and "Answers". I'm older and I like the fact that the puzzles are large print so I don't need reading glasses while I'm solving them. I would also highly recommend the Jumbo Jumble, "A Big Book for Big Fans" which has 500 puzzles. I just completed it recently. It was a gift from my son and think it ran him about $20.00 (not including shipping & taxes). That's about $0.04/per puzzle. Hope this "review" is helpful.

SInce I moved to Green Valley AZ I noticed their local newspaper did not have JUMBLE, like the Arizona Republic did when we lived in Phoenix. After a few years of 'JUMBLE withdrawl', I had to see if there were some collections out there and found this one on Amazon. Yes, the collection uses a 200 FONT, but being a senior citizen these days I appreciate it! For 8 cents a puzzle, it was worth it all the way for me. I am still a 'pencil and paper' guy for my puzzling, as my companion 'word search' is nearby with my new JUMBLE MANIA. Still my favorite kind of puzzle after all years, this collection is great.

The puzzles were easy to solve, but some of the jumbled words were not common English words. Not all , but I have a list of words that I had never heard of. Examples are rajah, jocund,lisle, jetsam,lichen and others. I have an extensive vocabulary, but I certainly don't know all as well as nobody else does. A dictionary takes a collaboration of minds. I usually enjoy Jumbles, Cryptograms etc. and Sudoku. Will buy more Jumbles, but not by these authors.

This is a very fun book for my Dad who loves to do Jumbles. He does them to keep his mind sharp. He used to be able to print them out but now he can't, so this was a fun gift for him. The puzzles aren't too challenging or too easy so this was a pure win. Would recommend.

I purchased this book for my 90 year old grandfather, who does the ones in the paper every day, he’s definitely gotten more into puzzles as he’s gotten older, for him it helps keep him sharp. And he enjoys the challenge! He actually told me not to get it! As the one a day in the paper is good enough, but since he had an emergency surgery a few months back, he’s been more depressed and having anxiety, and I noticed when he is working on a jumble or crypto, he gets more relaxed and is able to take his mind off other things. For someone who told me one a day was good enough!! He’s doing each jumble in order in the book! And in under a month he’s approximately half way thru it! (I suppose I will be buying others! As he truly enjoys it!)

I love to do these, but I was expecting 3 smaller size books when I ordered. Wanted something to carry in my purse. These are large print, and easy on the eyes, and ''''brain stimulating" and interresting, but not as I was expecting.

My mother in law who is suffering from Dementia that is effecting mostly her memory at this point has been working through the book. I have to help her with the answers to the puzzle narrative, but she can do the jumble words, and it is so good to keep her brain active. Not everyone in Dementia could handle this, but it has been good for her.

As I sit at work some days...................BORED in slow times. I do the jumble from the local paper. When I discovered that there could be a HUGE book of jumble I jumped on it. It was at my house in less than 4 days.............Quick delivery and came as described. Would recommend this seller to anyone

FANTASTIC "pamphlet" with so many choices!!!! Best book for "non-traditional" weddings I have found so far. I would HIGHLY recommend getting the DIY Wedding Ceremony full-sized book by Dayna Reid, as this only gives you more choices for your couples. It has religious/traditional services as well for the officiant or minister who performs both. I recommend this to anyone either performing a wedding, or getting married. This is my "go-to" for wording ideas for all types of ceremonies! Blessings!

Great wedding Ceremony guidebook. I'm using it to plan my wedding in working with our wedding officiant. It provides a great overview of typical wedding components. I highly recommend purchasing the full book as well to get more detailed ideas on what to include in each step of your wedding (ex. Processional, Opening Remarks, Readings, Declaration of Intent, etc.).

If you're planning or officiating a wedding, this is clearly the only book you'll ever need! The Guidebook is like having your own personal sherpa to help guide you through the wonderful & creative journey of planning one of the most memorable and meaningful day of your life. The Guide book is a companion book to Dayna's expanded version, Do-It-Yourself Wedding Ceremony (highly recommended!) Don't wait on buying this one, let the excitement begin here! I have given Dayna's expanded book to two of my nieces and they're just thrilled!

This is a very well written, and easy to follow instruction manual for do it yourself weddings, and anyone wanting to officiate. Even for someone that was going to hire out much of the work, and have someone else affiliate it, this book was packed full of considerations that we would not have thought of. I especially appreciate that there is good information for many types of ceremonies spiritual, and non-spiritual, and it did not contain any bias towards any particular faith. We also appreciated the meaningful philosophies, and insights, on the commitment of marriage, and deep love. Going to purchase the author's other book for more of her insight.

This little book is a compilation of a bigger book by the same author. The ceremonies described in this booklet are easily understood and get the job done when you need a quick ceremony to marry a couple.

This was a short read and didn't offer many options. There was a section for religious, non religious, zen and Celtic... most didn't apply to me. Save your money and do a google search to get more relevant information.

For those of us who have been involved in AFROCentric speculative fiction, photography, art or multimedia with a futuristic feel, Womack's book is a delightful confirmation that we are not alone in the universe. Womack did considerable research and her notes at the end provide helpful guidance for readers and writers of speculative fiction who want to get more involved.Womack tell us that AFROFuturism is much more than sci-fi stories about starship captains bouncing throughout the galaxy on sexual conquests. Literature, music, art, dance, politics are all linked to inspire us to create a new future. People of African descent are seeking to go were no "person" has gone before. Each chapter explores a different aspect of AFROFuturism. She manages to meld together anecdotal material, research facts as well as personal insight without being too preachy or lofty. This is not a dry "thesis" written for academic credit, nor smoky, whimsical abstraction. It is a thoughtful document crammed with personal insights.She suggests that the word "AFROFuturism" is fairly new to the cultural scene. It was first mentioned in 1992 by a writer named Mark Dery. Therefore, it would be shorted-sighted and mean-spirited to accuse Womack of leaving out a few references or new activities. AFROFuturism is growing faster than print. Anyone who desires the most up-to-date activities can use Social Media on the Internet.My ultimate rating for Afrofuturism: The World of Black Sci-Fi and Fantasy Culture should be a 4.5 (but Amazon doesn't allow for .5).

I bought this book right after reading Octavia Butler's "Bloodchild" (which I highly recommend) because I wanted a little more insight regarding black's in science fiction. I have sadly read very little author's that are Black/African American, and I'm glad I'm correcting that. Without spoiling it, I will say that this definitely a book you may not necessarily read for pleasure, though I did. This is one of those books you could take notes in, learn something, use as a reference. This could be a gateway book to other books in the genre of afrofuturism. Of course, I did enjoy it because I learned some history regarding famous artists and where afrofuturism originated from (to an extent) and where that influence has led since. I would recommend this to anyone interested in a little history lesson, some more author's and artists to discover, etc.

Womack does a great job of describing and exploring the terrain of Afrofuturism, although at parts shies away from some internal debates. It feels written for an audience unfamiliar with the field, and as such tries to give a more seamless and coherent picture than may actually exist. Such it is with any cultural movement.A great jumping off point for deeper exploration and later study--especially what may stand at odds with Afrofuturism as presented herein!

There are a few interesting ideas here, but this book is not clear about what it wants to be. It is not really deep dive into the ideas, it is not really a history, it is not really a reading list... it is a bit of all those things but ends up feeling more like a personal testimonial about how cool afrofuturism is than anything else.

I bought this for my partner after we saw Black Panther.He loves it, hasn’t put it down since it arrived. He isn’t one than reads books, mostly magazines & on line news & articles.

Inwas not familiar with many of the forms/venues in which thevsubjects of his discourse and analysis were located. Illustrations, pictures, and photgraphs would have been very helpful

As a self proclaimed Afrofuturist author and artist, I found Ms. Womack's work to be both informative and inspiring. Growing up in the inner city of Cleveland, OH, I often felt alone and isolated while watching Star Trek and dreaming of a better and diverse future. I now feel a sense of community...I have truly found my tribe. :D Many thanks to Ms. Womack for her thought provoking and well researched work. Power Up!
