This book is great and very informative. I was required to purchase it for a class, and I have found it very helpful in giving strategies that I can implement with my students quickly. The book is well organized, and easy to read. I'm glad I own it. However, the book is falling apart. I use the book often, but I wouldn't say I'm rough on it. I don't throw it around and it stays at home on my desk. With normal page turning, during the first use I had three pages fall out. I'm constantly having to tape pages back in, and it makes turning other pages awkward. It is frustrating!

Teaching Reading Sourcebook offers detailed and useful information. However, the book arrived with bent corners and wrinkled pages. I believe the book must have been damaged during shipping. Normally, this isn't something that would bother me. In this particular case, I paid extra to have a new book- $60.00. I should have received a book in new condition. It wasn't worth the time or effort to exchange the book.

This book is very useful! I bought it for a graduate course but have found myself referencing the techniques and activities suggested. This book has many useful activities and worksheet examples. I am a third grade teacher and I have used a few activities in my own classroom already with great success. I definitely recommend this book for reading teachers at the elementary level.

This edition is filled with information. It is almost double the size of the previous edition. I do not own the previous edition but have used it in the past. I wanted to buy one to have for myself. I have not been able to use it yet, but I am excited by all the information.

The book is easy to read with short chapters. The best part is it has lesson plans that are right on the money unlike plans that I've looked at on websites for ideas that require a complete overhaul. I use this textbook to teach a doctoral level psychology course. It covers all the necessary issues related to clinical supervision in great depth and has some very thought provoking questions in each chapter to help spark lively classroom discussions and debates. Highly recommend this book!

I appreciated the many suggestions offered to improve my supervision skills. I have been supervising interns for 13 years and relish the opportunity to look at this important part of my work from different perspectives, to hone my skills, and yet always keep in mind the interns experience. This book fulfilled those requirements for me. I found this book easy to read and very enjoyable. In fact, I couldn't put it down, I read it straight through.

While this book is informative, interesting and easy to read, it is rather useless as an ebook with DRM. Yet another example of the industry's foolish obsession with protecting ebooks to the point of making them obsolete. This book contains numerous helpful worksheets for guiding supervisees. However, since it is impossible to print the worksheets from an ebook, and it is impossible to convert the ebook to a pdf file for printing, this book is completely useless for a supervisor. I would recommend purchasing the hard copy version of the book. Or purchasing a book without DRM.

Great book for developing supervisors in the mental health professions. Very hands on, give lots of examples, user friendly. Have a lot of books on supervision...this one's my favorite.

The chapters on the personality of the supervisor was most helpful and thought provoking. Found myself understanding the dynamics of past relationships. Also, felt compelled to share the book with a colleague who put it to good use.

This is a very good book to read if you are just starting to supervise. It is also a good refresher book for those that have been doing it for some time. Easy read and lots of information.

Useful and comprehensive resource on the elements of clinical supervision that covers everything from documentation to process. Would love addition of appendices (or appendixes to be technical [look it up, really!]) with sample forms.

i have seen this book, and it is a wonderful way for new-comers and old-timers to get to know East Hampton. my book is on order but i want to say it is just the thing i've been looking for for years. thank you east hampton historical society for putting together this little gem.
